What I Did on My Summer Vacation

We travelled to Fort St. John, B.C. for our family reunion. It is a long road trip, so we did it in two days. I hope to have several posts from our vacation to share with you. Our first stop was in Barkerville. It is an old gold rush ghost town which has been made into a park. In the summer months they have actors in period costumes who walk about the streets as though they lived there over one hundred years ago. They are very informative and amuzing people. We were there as a large family group, which included my dear, sweet grandsons. We had such a great time. I have two mementos to share with you, but I haven't unpacked yet to photograph them.
