I have seen bleached bottle brush trees all over Blogland, so I figured I might as well jump right in and try it myself. It was SOOOOOO easy. A little bleach and water in a bucket and soak the Dollar Store green trees - TA DA! White Trees.
I applied spray adhesive and sprinkled on Martha Stewart Snow Glitter, that didn't work too well. I don't know what might work better. Then hot glued some pearl bobbles in place.
One tree is sitting in a little silver cup that I bought at a White Elephant table for .25. It polished up very nicely. The other tree is sitting in fake snow in a thrift store crystal glass.

Hi Pamela,
I have yet to try that , but I want to. I need to get some dollar store trees. It looks so easy! Knowing me I would have bleach all over everything though. Have a wonderful day!!
Blessings~
Hi Lady Pamela,
Your little trees are adorable. It's a great trick to get the little trees you want. They are so cute decorated or just left plain white. Thanks for sharing yours. Merry Christmas!
Christmas blessings,
Sandi
They look so pretty and I love the silver dish.
Take care,
Carolyn
I love them! And I adore how you have displayed them too. I sent you an e-mail about how I did the stars. Easy peasy. I've also been foofing up some candles for gift for my friends and a sweet little neighbor.
hugs
Your trees turned out beautifully Pamela....don't you just love them!
Christmas blessings to you and your family!!

Hi, your trees bleached out perfectly!! I'm off to the dollar store. How about rolling the trees in watered down white glue then in the glitter or in mica flakes?
Good morning Lady Pamela,

Hugs and Kisses,
