I have been on the lookout for a curtain rod to hang some embroidered sheers in my dining room. I found some white ones in the Fall 2010 Sears catalogue. Really darling with little white birds on them. After our yard sale this weekend I will measure up my window. I think these would look quite fun.

To answer your question I just drew the bird on construction paper and cut it out and used it as a template. Nothing fancy :)
