Le Trésor du Jour

That's French for 'treasure of the day'. My DH and I went for a walk to our favourite neighbourhood coffee shop. They have lots of wonderful things in their gift shop, too. I picked up this little basket and showed him, he said very firmly "Get it." Who am I to argue? So it followed me home.
I have not found it a permanent place of honour yet. It looks like it was meant to hold bar soap, but we only use liquid soap. DH thinks it might make a good spot to hold a note pad and pen. I was thinking of maybe the bathroom for odds and ends. Any ideas out there in Blogland?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

White Tablescape

I made the napkin rings from supplies from the Thrift Shop. I made 12 for a just a few dollars.
The napkins were also from the Thrift Shop, only .$50 cents each. They were brand new with the original tags still on them.

Disaster

A brand new ornament that I recieved as a gift. I barely had it a minute and I dropped it and it shattered. I was so sad.

Christmas Eve

I made this project. The glass blocks are from Rona. The instructions and silhouettes are available from http://supersaturdayldscrafts.blogspot.com/
I really like how this photo turned out. This was a gift from a dear friend.
Even Tessa is dressed in white for the holidays. She is wearing her pearls.

Christmas Crafting

We have been snowed in for several days now. I have lots of time to add some decorations to my White Christmas. I got this idea from another blog. http://talesfromanoccottage.blogspot.com/
She also made some cute button trees. Here is the one I made.

A Few More Decorations

My feather tree, maybe next year I will decorate it. It looks cute just the way it is though.
My domed Christmas tree .
Candles in the terrarium.

Snow Day

Today was our first 'snow day' for this winter. It was a stay inside kind of day. Look at all the things I finished making. Mittens (for decorating, not for wearing)
Gift card holders.

Our three stockings. Which one do you like best?

What did you do on your 'snow day'?

'FALL'ing Behind

This year I decided to decorate with white for Christmas. I thought it would be fun to do fall in white as well. It was not that easy finding white things for fall. Christmas, however, has been a lot of fun. Just wait till you see photos of my tree.
